The holidays have been absolutely crazy for me this year. I procrastinated at bit here and there and it certainly caught up with me. I'm behind in my Christmas and holiday mail. Receiving mail! And a trip to the post office!

Today I included the post office on my list of errands. It was time to renew my PO Box. I did, of course. I LOVE having a POB. The novelty still hasn't warn off. Sometimes I even use checking my box as a reward- I can't go until I finish grading papers or writing a report or finish the stack of mail I have in hand. SOOOOO today was reward day since I was writing my happy rear off- see the huge list below of outgoing! And rewarded I was! Look at all the mail I received!!!

This has been a busy week, lots of things happening in my world and to my emotions. I've gotten a tad bit behind in my mail but I started my 25 day summer vacation today so I hope to have all correspondence caught up before I leave on vacation next week. While I didn't get much writing done today, I was thinking of writing. I was at Micheal's Craft store which has the best $1 spot ever! I re-stocked on adorable stationery, cards, labels, decorative tape, tags, and stickers! I have new fun stuff to send now!

The Purpose of this Blog

HI!

The main purpose of this blog is to help me organize myself.

I belong to a wonderful web site for pen-paling called sendsomething.net and I receive and send LOTS of mail. I've found that sendsomething isn't conducive to helping me organize to whom I send and from whom  I receive. I send quite a bit of mail (I know, not as much as other folks, but lots for me!) so I want to make sure I have myself in order!

This will also be a good spot for senders and receivers to check. People can see if I sent them something and when, for example. We mail senders are a busy lot and keeping track of all the ins and outs of our letters can be a big job- for those of us who are OCD, that is!

This will be a list of my sending and receiving habits mostly. Other times I might blog about something amazing I received or pictures of my feeble attempts at mail art. I could also blog about my thoughts regarding the postal service, fun stamps I bought, the art of letter writing, or just whatever strikes my fancy that has to do with mail!
